The guys over at Inman News have a post highlighting somelisting lifestyle videos that I think do a nice job of marketing a lifestyle and the listing at the same time. Great ideas for you to pitch some videos to customers!Alan
VERY COOL! I love it!
What an awesome way to make your video go viral! The time to edit would be fairly substantial (especially the "Doggy One" ... "BUT" for those agents who understand the benefit, it could be sold all day.
You're right -- this is no $350 shoot for sure. But boy I bet it was a happy homeowner :)
I would be curious of the budget. I mean $1000 for a $800k house is a pretty steep investment if the homeowner doesn't pay...
This is an awesome video to showcase a home. I would think that the budget would have to be around $1000 with talent and all. The thing is that I bet this agent is probably a high producer and takes home most of her 3% or 6% if she gets both sides. Even if she has $4000 in marketing this one home and only is the seller's agent, her take home on 3% is $24,000. Yes she has to take out taxes but she can write off the $4000 in marketing. When all is said and done, she brings in $17,000, has a happy client, and has an awesome piece that she can use to book more high end clients.
The house is listed for $1,495,000.
Have you all been following the PhotograhyforRealEstate.net blog? Larry has been posting 6 new videos a week. There are some great ideas out there. I think video is where photography was 10 years ago. You could do your own unprofessional stuff and make it work. I hear that many folks prefer the homegrown video....we'll see where it is going to head. I am still having a hard time convincing my clients to try it out. Of course, I have yet to do some of me for my webpage.
