Software to Automatically Straighten Verticals

If you previously read my blog post about the importance of straightening verticals for real estate photography, go read it now.

I was doing some research today and ran across a program called ShiftN which is a tool that automatically straightens verticals! Even better, it's FREE. Sadly, it's Windows-only, but still that's not a major deal-breaker.

I have not yet had a chance to try it myself, but figured some of you might want to try it out and share feedback.
Enjoy,
Alan

How is it working?  You like?

Still haven't tried it... I don't shoot tours so I don't really have occasion to try it out and have been swamped with working on our products.

Nathan - I've used it on occassion.  It's not a bad utility.  I've even tried their "batch" utility to speed up the editing process.   Sometimes, with a number of crazy shots, it created something off-beat.  If most of your angles are close to normal, this tool will save you quite a bit of time!

I use it all the time, love it. Its fast and works great, although in the processing

it does cut down the original image in the cropping stage and may shave off some

important elements of your photo.

I am featuring this application -- we've gotten a lot of feedback direct from customers that this app is a real time-saver. We want to make sure everyone knows about it!
