We have rolled out a number of new features over the last few months and wanted to make sure everyone was aware of them!
We now offer an option to make a tour password-protected. This is ideal for pocket listings or other situations where you don't want the tour to be publicly accessible for some reason.
You can toggle this feature from the tour editing page.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Voiceover Toolbox which integrates their professional voice-over narration service with the TourBuzz real estate virtual tour platform.
Nearly every home listed for sale is viewed online before being viewed in-person, and narrated tours allow agents to ensure that potential buyers hear about major selling points of a listing, such as being located near a park or in a great school district that can otherwise be overlooked…Continue

How do I improve my SEO? We get this question a lot.
First you need to figure out how Agents are searching for photographers in your market. Google makes this very easy. You will need to get a Google Adwords Account. http://www.google.com/adwords

Tour music selection improvements
We have upgraded the tour music selection system to work like the other cascading preferences in the system. Previously, you needed to select music independently for every single tour. We now allow you to select the tour music at the account and customer levels. You can also upload a custom audio track at the account and customer level.
We have also added an integrated audio preview to reduce the effort involved in choosing…Continue

Over the eight+ years I have been in business doing real estate virtual tours I have found doing partial panos to be a great advantage over 360 degree panos.
The comments heard often about the 360 degree images is that “they are so distorted”, “they make me dizzy” and “I don’t like them”.…

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new login-based Client Center. The "secret" url-based client and tour access has served us well, but we feel that moving forward a more traditional login-based client panel is both more secure and expected from customers. At your option, all of your customers can have access to a login-based Client Center.
Client Center functionality for your Customers:
When you work on software, you can have a tendency to get stuck into your work for weeks at a time and forget about the outside world, so it was refreshing and fun for us to have lunch with the guys at Tunefruit this week. They’re working on a marketplace for stock audio tracks with deep, rich tagging so users can find exactly what they’re looking for as…Continue
Recently I posted my house for sale. We wanted to test the market and see our next steps. My three boys keep getting bigger and I can’t even use my own bathroom. Anyway, back to what you and your clients care about.
I created a TourBuzz tour. I added a street address domain name. I created a YouTube video that was posted to my personal YouTube account. The sign in the front yard only had a link to the TourBuzz web…Continue

Have you ever just moved a few things (or a lot of things) out of the way when photographing a home? Done some minor staging for your images? Chatted longer with the homeowner than you had planned? I think all of these things can really make a difference between personal service a small company provides and the big national companies.
Sometimes I have done too much moving to help show…
A customer shared this article with some great research on the effect of real estate photography on a listing's time on market and sale price. The bottom line is that listings with more photos make the listing take slightly longer to sell, but deliver a 3-5% increase in sale price.
The full article appears in WSJ (via…Continue
It is so easy to incorporate video into a TourBuzz tour. Have the Realtor do an introduction to the home outside, maybe a quick shoot in the backyard, or the kitchen. Have them do some voice overs for the panoramic shots. If the light is good you will not need to drag around extra lights.
Here are some suggestions.…
