Michael Basch commented on TourBuzz Fellow's blog post 'How Much Should I Charge For Real Estate Photography? (Part 1)'
Great post. We've also varied our pricing structure, trying to find the right combination.  We tried the bronze, silver, gold, platinum, plutonium ..... way.  Then we segmented our tours by square footage ... now we charge for our…

One thing I didn't notice on the skins.  Where are the fancy buttons for the linked tools (ie. FLYER; SCHOOLS, MAP, etc)?

When looking at the first example, how does a viewer know that they're viewing a panorama?

Michael Basch replied to Ted Wiatrak's discussion 'No more panoramas?'
I've seen that happen.  Since people are so used to slide shows, and since most of our tours react the same way, when they're taken into a pano, they sit back and watch.  Most of the time, they don't realize that they can…

Michael Basch replied to Ted Wiatrak's discussion 'No more panoramas?'
Correct me if I'm wrong .........  the video that will be included is a "hands free, non interactive" spin of an area - unlike a panorama that is totally interactive.   Though, I have seen people come up with interactive…

Post processing - from photo editing to posting to Tourbuzz's development system

More interested in doing photography than post production?

My daughter is available for your post production needs.  She's been using Photoshop since she was a young tot, graduated from University of the Arts and knows the Tourbuzz system intimately.

She is making herself available as a virtual assistant for anyone that would like to offload their post production work.

Not only will she handle color correction, etc., she'll take care of uploading everything…

Virtual Staging

Three years ago, while the market tanked, we saw that we had an increase of photo shoots of empty homes/townhomes/condos. Whether it was a result of divorce, foreclosure, death - there was a sharp increase in home inventory. The empty homes were all competing with the already large inventory of well furnished, staged homes.

Unfortunately, with the high costs associated with rental furniture and staging, neither the realtor or…

Thanks Michael. That's not my typical real estate work. Those were done for commercial clients and is a higher end product.

Hi Michael,
Thanks, that's good stuff. What kind of response have you gotten out of it?

Hi Michael.
You mentioned possibly sending me a sample of what you send to obeo costumers etc. That would be great.

Yes - that's where I got my start (with RTV). I do want to break out of that mold and do better work. I am in the market for a new camera, some extra lenses and a new flash - You have a terrific eye when it comes to editing. Did you learn all of that @ photographyforrealestate.net? I will definitely check the site out! I hope that I can achieve as great of a product as you have. You're an inspiration!

Thanks for your help!
Mike

Are you a former RTV dealer? I can tell by the cameras and the stitching software... me too.
I use Photoshop CS to do all my editing.
Michael, have you visited www.photographyforrealestate.net ? It's a great resource and there is a link there to the photographyforreastate on flickr. Those two places are where I have learned the most.
