Yes, essentially the entire series (except for the air photos) was shot with the Canon 17mm T&S lens attached to a Canon 1Ds M-3 body. Shooting with the camera absolutely square and level, I can then use the shift function to move the image up or down in the frame. This is most useful when shooting a building -- because with the camera squared-up to shoot straight verticals, the ground line of the building is halfway up the frame and the image is all driveway. By shifting the lens up, I can replace concrete with more trees and sky. See the 12th photo in the series. Sure, I could aim higher and fix the keystoning in post -- even in Lightroom as of version 3 -- but I would be stretching pixels and losing a lot of width.
On a crop body, the lens becomes the equivalent of a 24mm -- and I sometimes use it on my 7D body for tighter interior shots.
Not indispensable, but a very nice tool that produces a distinct look in the end product. I traded my 14mm prime for it and have never regretted spending the additional money to get this gem.

I just noticed you had pics up, those are beautiful! Are any of those done with a T-S lens?
