I'm having a hard time with the tactical video. I know it's something I'm doing wrong because I've seen other peoples tours with tactical video and it looks great. Mine do not have have the quality of the others. I look at the raw video and it looks just fine then I edit it and save for upload to Tourbuzz and when viewing in full screen mode it's awful.
Can someone help me with settings? I'm using a Canon 7D and editing using Adobe Premiere Elements 9.
Thanks,
Kent

You should open up the one that Premiere exports before uploading to TourBuzz even and verify that it looks good. I have found that many times I don't get the expected export quality that I was expecting until I mess with the settings a bit.

Thanks
Permalink Reply by Alan Pinstein on February 9, 2012 at 8:29pm Open up the exported file in QuickTime player and do a "Get Info" so you can see the metadata. Verify the resolution, bitrate, and codec. That's the first step so you can isolate the problem between TourBuzz and Premiere.

Thank you for your help, The problem is not with Tourbuzz I'm sure. Here's the info from Quicktime
Format - H.264, 1080X720
FPS - 60 (This is the only options on the 7D for shooting 1080X720)
Data Rate - 2.41 mbits/sec
Permalink Reply by TourBuzz Support on February 9, 2012 at 11:15pm Ah the FPS is 60. My camera does that, too. That means that the data rate is effectively half of what we keep (30 fps).
Try exporting at 30fps and see how that works out.
Permalink Reply by Kent on February 10, 2012 at 3:28pm I tried the 30fps and it didn't make any differance. I really appreciate your help in this and I know it's something I'm doing/not doing that is causeing this. But, I really want to use the tactical video feature.
The video look like I'm looking at it through a large pixel water fall.
Permalink Reply by Virtual Tours Ottawa on March 6, 2012 at 5:59pm Not sure if you resolved this but the simple solution is to shoot in 1080p and down scale to 720p in Premier Pro.
Permalink Reply by Virtual Tours Ottawa on March 6, 2012 at 6:00pm Is there any problem with shooting at 24 fps? Also, is the maximum file size still 10mb?
