Wow I just read through that post and it's really good stuff. Paul uses the CHDK firmware replacement for Canon cameras to install a new "OS" on the camera. This allows all kinds of extra flexibility and fancy features on your camera like customized bracketing. Using this could speed up your workflow a lot!
