I'm putting together a tour for a Commercial Land Developer and Builder who builds to suit, and need to place TEXT into the Panoramas for the viewer to get an idea of the surrounding buildings/area.

Has anyone done this before?  If so, what is the best font, size, and fx to use in PhotoShop to make the text stand out?  I've spent awhile on this, and I can't get it to look the way that I want it.

Any help would be welcomed.

Thanks!
Nathan

Not sure how much text you need, but you could use custom hotspots for this. You get up to 64x64.

We have also always wanted to do a hotspot that when clicked brings up text; if there is budget for it we could try to accelerate this feature for your client.
The Hotspot Text option would be fantastic! Right now however, this is just a test project on how to market Land/Blank Property, and there is no budget in place as of yet.

Here's the project as of right now: http://tours.printmyrealestate.com/public/vtour/display/21084?a=1

This is in no way even close to being done, but hope to have it close to presentable in the next couple of days. The first 2 Panos are the ones that I placed text into. It's the same pano both times, but I was experimenting with text boxes.
Nathan,

I think that text is large enough on both panos. I personally like fonts with a serif, like bookman.

You could even do a different color- maybe a really dark blue.

I would add an arrow to the building, which would add an anchor point for the text and make it clearer to the viewer. Esp for the Perkins building.
