Canon has released the full frame EOS 6D for about $1,500 retail.   Their website still does not have any details as of this writing, but some of the other sites indicate it is similar to the 7D, with video and the latest processor.

Sounds like a great and inexpensive way to supply the latest technology to a second shooter or as a good backup camera.

The new DIGIC5 processor in the T4i, 6D, and 5D Mk III has IN CAMERA HDR, too! This could be an enormous boost for your processing workflow. Imagine seeing your final shot in-camera.

I see that the 6D also has WiFI and GPS built-in, that's really, really cool.
